The Product: TANZŌ Platform 

PROBLEM

Most e-commerce platforms aren’t well suited for true crafters who want to promote their craft or wish to sell their uniquely designed products at fair prices. Specifically, crafters are forced to compete directly with wholesale vendors and traders who often sell counterfeit or mass-produced goods on the very same platform and at much lower prices.

Sometimes it becomes difficult to even spot the authentic handmade items amidst the volumes of low quality knockoffs that clutter the search results.

SOLUTION

TANZŌ’s blockchain-based identity verification process ensures that only true crafters will be able to sell their handmade items on the platform. It is also a guarantee to potential buyers that all goods are truly handmade by the actual crafter who sells them.

Items will be priced in fiat currencies for customers who may not be familiar with comparable cryptocurrency values. However, TANZŌ will incentivize users to use TZO tokens as their default currency for transactions by lowering or completely removing withdrawal fees and by giving out bonus TZO tokens as rewards for special achievements.

TANZŌ for Buyers

TANZŌ uses geolocation and timestamp functionality, in combination with blockchain technology, to verify the identity and authenticity of each new crafter, as well as each new item.

TANZŌ’s smart contract system is responsible for registering crafters and their products on the blockchain upon meeting the predefined conditions (verified profile, submitted product information, validated rates, payment provided before the product is shipped, etc.) Each product purchase is registered on the blockchain as a transaction.

Vassil is an entrepreneur and senior leader with a proven track record of building successful software delivery organisations. He has been preparing his team to develop skills and passion for the distributed ledger technologies for the past 2 years. He is a strong Blockchain supporter and advocate. His team helped Hive-project by having a successful ICO and now he and his team are building up the product. Vassil joined TANZŌ as a partner from the very beginning of the ideation phase. Dr. Georgiev holds of a PhD and MSc in Operations Management from Japan’s second top university. He also has a BA in Marketing with minor in Management Accounting from the International Business School Groningen (the Netherlands) and Sheffield Hallam University (the UK). He has worked as sales and marketing expert in a number of industries, including media selling and advertising, and e-gaming. In recent years, in line with his professional aspirations, he has been juggling between academia and industry, working as Business Development and Operations Management Consultant, and Lecturer and Researcher.
