ABOUT PO8
PO8 is a blockchain ecosystem democratizing and decentralizing the marine archaeology industry. Our scalable technologies take ocean exploration to new heights in search of historical artifacts and treasures, and provide decentralized solutions for the registration, authentication, and transfer of the world’s most prized artifacts.
INDUSTRY CHALLENGES
Divided Community
Divisions and lack of collaborative framework between competing marine archaeology interest groups.
High Salvage Costs
Recovery expeditions can easily go into the millions, creating a barrier to entry feasible by only a handful of companies with resources.
Centralized Auction Process
Selling priceless treasures or artifacts can cost salvage companies, governments and other owners anywhere from 12 to 20% in sales commissions
THE PO8 SOLUTION
OUR BLOCKCHAIN ECOSYSYTEM
PO8’s contributions go beyond ocean exploration and promoting responsible commercial salvage. Our ecosystem ensures preservation of cultural heritage, responsible commerce of valuable artifacts and the creation of a PO8 Stablecoin.
FOUNDATION
The PO8 Foundation will be a custodial recipient of some of the discovered artifacts to be shared with the world to view through travelling exhibitions.
AUCTION
Our Historical Open Auction Platform (HOAP) is a decentralized auction platform ensuring responsible commerce of historical artifacts while providing a secure, transparent and cost effective place to buy and sell precious treasures.
REGISTRY
The PO8 Historical Artifact Registry System (PHARS) creates a method to identify historical artifacts and certify their authenticity permitting government agencies, museums and organizations to register historic artifacts.
RESERVE
A portion of the recovered treasures such as gold and silver will be placed in the P08 reserve and pegged to the P08 token, resulting in token stability.
HOW PO8 WORKS
OUR PRODUCTS
P08 decentralized applications provide a more scalable approach to the recovery and distribution of historical artifacts. Individuals, rather than corporations and governments, will be more instrumental in the search, preservation, exhibition and transfer of artifacts.
WHAT IS MADS
Maritime Artifact Data System (MADS)
For the first time ever, anyone from around the world can help in the search and recovery efforts of long lost artifact treasures. Simply participate and complete any of our bounty tasks and earn free tokens. Bounty tasks include but not limited to analyzing data such as sonar, magnetometer, geo mapping, historical records, weather patterns, video feeds and more.
WHAT IS HOAP
Historical Open Auction Platform (HOAP)
We’re creating a whole new way of transferring high value assets in a secure, cost-effective and transparent manner on the blockchain. Our decentralized auction is an open source platform, making it easy for anyone to get the most value for their prized possessions.
WHAT IS GAAS
Government Artifact Auction System (GAAS)
The GAAS platform serves as a secure escrow service allowing governments, museums and non-profit organizations to register and authenticate artifact treasures to buy, sell and auction historical artifacts between one another. All users of the platform are validated to ensure they are government entities.
WHAT IS PHARS
PO8 Historical Artifact Registry System (PHARS)
PHARS is a decentralized registry platform used to identify historical artifacts and certify their authenticity, through the creation of unique signature identifications that live in the blockchain indefinitely.
